 Sesquicentennial September

Join us for a month long celebration as we enjoy history moments from the life of the church. You may learn something you didn't know or recall somehting you'd forgetten!

We're starting the celebration off right with a Mtn. View-style communion and Winfield's own historian Mike Hood delivers the message. (9 September)

Next up, retired pastor & former Winfield preacher, David Bentley will be our guest and deliver our message for the day. You know, we like to eat, so join us for sesquicentennial cake in the fellowship hall after worship. (16 September)

Another retired pastor (& former Winfield preacher... we just love these guys!), Charles Murray has acquiesced to our request to help commemorate and will be delivering the sermon. And didn't we say this before? We like to eat, so join us after for a potluck! (23 September)

To wrap up the celebrations, we'll be having a good ol' fashioned Gospel Fest and Ice Cream social. We're Methodists and no other denomination likes to eat as much as we do. Food brings communities together and we hope you'll bring along your favorite ice cream to share. Join us to sing some of your favorite (and ours!) gospel hymns! (30 September)
